This is a video of the line up (queue) of people waiting for the Thai consulate in Vientiane to open on the morning of Thursday July 9th after having been closed for 5 consecutive days due to Buddhist holidays and the weekend. Almost 700 applications were processed this day and I believe they stopped accepting submissions after 10:30 where they normally stop at 12:00.

Right on the top of the Banyan Tree Hotel and open to the elements the Vertigo Bar is a fantastic place to go for a at least a drink. Obviously you need a balmy evening as there isn’t really any shelter if it rains. It’s something you have to do once but if you’re a little wary of heights, just stay in the middle and don’t look over the side!

Hier, vendredi 13 mai 2011, quelques heures avant la pesée officielle de l’évènement THAI FIGHT EXTREME de Cannes, Yod, Saiyok et Sudsakorn, enfilaient leur combinaison de sudation pour perdre quelques centaines de grammes superflus dans une salle de sport. Tandis que le reste des thaïlandais et japonais ont préféré rester à l’hôtel l’après midi pour récupérer un maximum du trajet de la veille. Les combattants européens, ainsi que les journalistes se sont quant à eux présentés directement à la pesée à la résidence « le Château Des Artistes » à Le Cannet (Alpes-Maritime, France) .
